| This is one great Club! Many of our trips have additional activities to enjoy. There apre skiing activites and even fun things for for non-skiers. We encourage families to join and make skiing and enjoying time together a family activity. Our lodging packages and dates are family friendly and frequently take advantage of three day school holiday periods. Join us at a meeting to meet and greet or contact one of the club officers by email: info@fourwindsski.org What's new on the website... | The Prez says.....by Steve Skwiat It's hard to belive that it is time for the February newslett! Soon our thought will be changing from sking and snow to biking and sunshine. Well back to skiing, the report from GRANITE PEAK was that all had a great time in spite of the passing on of the "Shelton hospital run award." At last count, I heard that it was holding at three. We all wish a speedy recovery to all involved. This will make picking the end-of-the season awards easier. For those who still have " the need for speed", we have two great trips planned this month. First is the Presiden't weekend (2/15-18) POWDERHORN/ UP trip. We all know that this trip has added many a story to the Four Winds history book. The second trip will be to NUBS NOB trip (2/29/3/3.) This is my favorite Midwest trip with awesome skiing and great lodging. FYI both areas have been getting lots of Midwest POW_POW. What I need to know is who is going on these trips being that we do not have a sign-up list. If you are going on either or both fo these trips, please call Steve Skwiat. And now for new business, Rich and Judy Stasch have set up our summer picnic for July 12 at Lake Opeka in Des Plaines - Lake Park and they reserved the pavilion. Our banquest is going to be a Chandlers on April 26. And lastly Dave Shelton has the Flyers game scheduled for July 26. Sounds like the beginning of another busy year so mark you calendars! Well tha's all for this month, let's keep up the POW-POW dancing so we get some great spring skiing. |
