| This is one great Club! Many of our trips have additional activities to enjoy. There are apre skiing activites and even fun things for for non-skiers. We encourage families to join and make skiing and enjoying time together a family activity. Our lodging packages and dates are family friendly and frequently take advantage of three day school holiday periods. | The Prez says.....by Steve Skwiat Is it summer or fall? I'm calling it the first month of the Ski Season! And with that comes the early CHICAGOLAND SKI AND SNOWBOARD SHOW. Our club is participating and it will be held at the new Renaissance Hotel/Schaumburg Convention Center. We need to get things goiing and all volenteers are welcomed. Please contact Lane Phillips or myself as soon as possible to help. Ski Show Dates Friday October 24, 2008 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM Saturday October 25, 2008 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM Sunday October 26, 2008 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM Also, plans for some great winter trips are in the works!!! See our trip list above. Just a note on the New Year's Eve trip. This trip was OK'd by the board of directors to be opened to CMCS clubs for a $15 per person surcharge as of October 1. Please note this is a bus trip. Contact Rich Stasch as soon as possible (before Oct. 1) to sign up and save your spot.
