                           2005-2006 Ski Trips

Dec. 17th and 18th Chestnut Mountain
--We had 2 nights lodging on the hill along with 2 days of skiing.  There were discounts on lessons and rentals.  Saturday was also a Demo Day with the availability to try those hot skis you heard advertised.

Jan. 13th to 15th, 2006 Cascade/Wisconsin Dells
This was Martin Luther King weekend, a long weekend for the kids.  We went to the Dells area and stayed at the Wilderness Resort and Waterpark and it was a big hit!  The snow was good and the air warm enough to eat outside.  We were able to enjoy the 2 indoor water parks at the Wilderness Resort.  The wave pool was great and going down the water slide at night made it pitch-black.  Way cool!  The Sheltons opened up their condo for the Bears game, too bad it didn't go our way.  Thanks to Rich Stasch for organizing this excellent trip.   PS. On Sunday the resort let everyone stay late and still use the poo.  The adults verse kids laser battle was one of the best parts of the weekend.  The adults won but the kids want a rematch next year.

Jan. 21st to Jan. 28th, 2006 Lake Tahoe
This was our week long western trip.  We visited  the beautiful Lake Tahoe area and the trip included round-trip direct and ground transfers.  We stayed at Lakeland Village Resort in South Tahoe.  The ski package included 3 days skiing at Heavenly, 1 day at Kirkwood and 1 day at Squaw Valley.  The cost of the trip was $1079 for a full package, and $853.00 for a non-skier.

February 16th to the 20th, 2006 Michigan's Upper Peninsula
In February, we took a journey to Michigan's UP.  The dates were February 16th to the 20th depending on your choice of 3 or 4 nights.  This was President’s Day Weekend and we offerd a variety of packages. The approximate cost was $599.00.  We stayed at the AmericInn at Ironwood, MI and the lift package was the Hillhopper Pass, which worked at Indianhead, Blackjack and Powderhorn.  Check with Pat Clark to answer the rumor on if he was able to entice people to go to Mt. Bohemia for a day.  Thank you to KristiClark who was our the trip leader.

March 3rd to the 5th, 2006 Granite Peak
March 3rd to 5th, we had our Family Festival weekend at Granite Peak which was over Pulaski Day weekend.  The package included 2 nights lodging, 2 day lifts, wine and cheese party, a Brat Cook-Out, Fireworks, and a Bonfire.  Cost of the trip was $449.00 for 2 adult/2 children a bargin for a family.Out thanks to  Dave Shelton our Super Trip leader
