Chicago Metropolitan Ski Council announces 2018 - 2019 Club Winners in May at the Trip Seminar
Four Winds Ski, Ride and Socialize Club
was awarded
2nd Place for the Gary Heller Award for Website Excellence
7th Place for Over-All Improved Club out of 70 clubs

Together we can make a difference!
Team Four Winds; Russ, Pat, Kathy, Sheri, Dave, Diane, Natalie and Gregg at Chicago American Cancer Society's Walk and Roll that was held on Saturday June 8, 2019.
Four Winds raised an impressive $1,887 to date.
A big Thank you to all of our supporters and their donations. Funds raised support cancer patient programs and groundbreaking research that can help save lives. The event also celebrates over 15.5 million cancer survivors nationwide.

All donations received by June 30th will go to our Four Winds Team total funds raised.

Here's how you can earn this honor.
Members will receive points for every meeting, activity, and trip you attend. Starting July 1, 2019 until our End of Season Banquet in April.
The Four Winds Club Members will need to register for an event / trip on our website plus arrive at the event in order to receive your points. In addition, if you volunteer to run a trip or event extra points will be added to your membership account.
The member that accumulates the most points wins the
Top Four Winder Traveling Trophy and a gift certificate
to Alpine Accessories.

Oak Park Lodge "Open House" Weekends for Members
Take advantage of a new membership benefit with one of our
free "open house" weekends at our lodge
July 26 - 28, 2019
August 30th - September 1, 2019 Labor Day Weekend

As our Four Winds Ski, Ride, and Socialize Club looks for ways to add benefits for our members, we'd like to announce a new membership benefit.
As some of you know, our club has a 10 Bedroom Lodge in Boyne Falls, Michigan. This lodge is close to a number of nice areas in northern Michigan, including Boyne Mountain (5 min), Petoskey (20 min), Mackinaw Island (60 min), Charlevoix (35 min), and Traverse City (70 min). These areas offer lots of activities in the summer/fall (in addition to the skiing/riding in the winter of course), from golfing and biking to wine tastings, festivals, sight-seeing opportunities, casinos, and much more.
We are announcing three "Open House" weekends, where club members (you either need to already be a paid member for 2018-2019, or you can sign up for a 2019-2020 membership now, which is effective immediately) can sign up to go to the lodge on these weekends basically for free (there is a nominal, non-refundable fee of $10 per person which includes continental breakfast for both mornings). You may also bring up to 4 guests as well (they are charged $20/guest which includes continental breakfast food both days).

The Chicago Metropolitan Ski Council (CMSC) primary goal is to promote and support our member clubs in their effort to further the interest in skiing, snow boarding and year round activities - social activities.

CMSC Trip Reviews
Each year the CMSC runs three trips just for CMSC club members. The Europe Trip, Chicago Week and Spring Fling. Each trip visits a different ski destination each year - sometimes we'll return to a destination that was especially wonderful. |
